- American Odds
- Odds expressed as a positive or negative number; positive shows profit on a $100 bet, negative shows amount needed to win $100.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap bet that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage, splitting the stake into two possible handicap outcomes.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that allows you to combine multiple markets from the same match into a single custom bet.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a decimal number, where the total payout equals the stake multiplied by the decimal.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes (win, draw, or loss) in one wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win if your chosen team wins.
- Edge
- Your perceived statistical advantage over the bookmaker’s odds in a given bet.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds expressed as a fraction, showing the profit you make relative to your stake (e.g., 3/2).
- Free Bet
- A bonus bet credited by the sportsbook that can be used to place a wager without risking your own money.
- Goal Line
- The total-goal line used for over/under bets, often also serving as the basis for Asian handicap betting.
- In-Play
- Betting on a match after it has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; the process of verifying a player’s identity to prevent fraud and comply with regulations.
- Margin
- The bookmaker’s built-in profit margin, also called juice or vig, reflected in the odds.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be over or under a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Responsible Gambling
- Practices and tools, such as deposit limits and self‑exclusion, designed to help players stay in control.
- Self-Exclusion
- A voluntary option that lets you block your own account for a set period, halting all betting activity.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Unit
- A standard bet size, usually a fixed percentage of your bankroll, used to manage risk.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you an edge.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings.
